Is this clip really Seedance 2.5?
Pick the version the seller claimed, then drop the clip. We compare its encoding parameters with native Volcano Ark exports and say match, mismatch, or cannot determine.
Which version did the seller claim?

What this does and does not prove
- We compare the delivery pipeline's encoding fingerprint (container + x264 parameters), not the pixels.
- “Match” means the file went through the official 2.5 pipeline; alone it does not prove the frames were drawn by the 2.5 model.
- Platforms such as Tencent Cloud re-encode, destroying the fingerprint. Those files are marked “cannot determine”, not guessed.
- The baseline comes from 34 native Volcano Ark exports and is valid for 30 days; the page warns when it expires.
FAQ
Which file should I upload?
The original MP4 returned by the API or relay. Files passed through WeChat, editors or downloaders are re-encoded and will come back as “cannot determine”.
It says “does not match claim”. Was I cheated?
The encoding parameters equal native 2.0 exports and differ from 2.5. Under the current baseline this looks like the 2.0 pipeline; take the parameters from the details panel to the seller.
What does “cannot determine” mean?
The file was re-encoded, is not x264, or its parameters fit neither baseline. We prefer saying we do not know over guessing.
Is my file sent to a third party?
No. ffprobe reads header parameters on this server only, no frames are decoded, and the file is deleted immediately.
